The earthquake occurred on September 11, 1999, was a significant turning point for Chuan Yi. The disaster caused water supply interruptions in various regions. Chuan Yi received requests for assistance from local governments and became an important contractor for repair and restoration projects. Through these efforts, Chuan Yi proved its technical expertise, professionalism, and the excellent quality of its water pumps, gaining trust and favor from both government and private sectors. The experience of post-earthquake repairs made Chuan Yi realize the importance and started transforming into a water pump enterprise dedicated in social services.

After becoming the contractor for various public works, Chuan Yi has participated in multiple important constructions, such as those of the Water Resources Agency, River Management Bureau, Water Supply Companies, and various county and city governments throughout Taiwan. Through rich practical experience and professional skills, Chuan Yi has been in a leading position in the Taiwanese water pump market and has made a completely new plan for the future of the water supply market. Chuan Yi has transformed past projects into data and developed innovative tools with ICT technology.     The company was established under the name of Ta-li. The authorized capital was 100,000NTD. In the initial stage, we acted as the distributor of TECO and Shin San Dong motors.

    We created not only own brand, “Sin-Ta-Li”, but also manufactured motors and pumps. We were successful known for manufacturing submersible pumps as our main products in middle of Taiwan.
  3. 1978
    Reorganized and established ”Chuan Pao Electric Co., Ltd.”, Expanded factory up to 3,300 square meters. Used “CP” as corporate identity system until now.
